“Ramzi” is Ram Mizrahi’s Arab alter ego. He is a Jerusalem-based DJ, artistic director, writer and actor. He founded a record label dedicated to expressing an Eastern Mediterranean identity for which language is the unifying factor, not religion or nationality. Ramzi served as the artistic director for Mekudeshet, Jerusalem’s Sacred Music Festival as well as other Jerusalem-based cultural happenings such as Sha’on Horef (“Winter Clock”) and for the performance space Nocturno. He is an actor for the Incubator Theater and has had roles in films by Shemi Zarhin and Amos Gitai. The Acco Festival awarded him a prize for artistic valor in 2020.
